You don’t generally consider yourself an over-reactive mom...
But your child ignores you or your partner walks past the dirty counter again, and you find yourself frustrated and wanting to react.
One minute you’re fine. The next, you’re reacting over something small.
And afterward comes the guilt for yelling and the shame for being mad at something that seems so inconsequential.
If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place.
This workshop is for you if:
You react to your kids or partner even over “small” things
You know your reactions aren’t really about the moment, but you can’t name what they are about
You’ve done inner work, but it hasn’t translated into daily life yet
You want more calm at home without suppressing your feelings or walking on eggshells
You’re ready to change how you respond so that your reactions stop running the show
What we’ll work on together:
Understanding why certain moments with your kids or partner work you up, so that they don’t feel so personal or overwhelming
How your body signals you’re being triggered, before you react so that you can catch the emotion earlier
What those reactions are pointing to beneath the surface so that you’re not stuck repeating the same patterns
A simple, in-the-moment process to use when emotions rise so that you have something to reach for when it’s happening
How to support yourself instead of reacting from old conditioning so that you can show up as the mom and partner you want to be
Your reactions aren’t the problem.
They’re simply information.
What you’ll walk away with
Awareness of what’s happening when you get triggered so that reactions feel less confusing
A simple, in-the-moment process to use when you feel triggered so you can slow things down and feel more in control instead of hijacked by emotion
More confidence that these patterns can actually change so you stop feeling stuck in the same cycles
A deeper sense of self-trust so you can move through family life with more steadiness, even when things get messy
This workshop provides practical understanding and support so real change can happen in real life.
About your facilitator
Sage King is a Breathwork and Embodiment Coach who works with midlife moms navigating overwhelm, anxiety, and reactivity.
Her work supports women in moving out of over-functioning and people-pleasing and into more grounded, present ways of living so that daily moments with their kids, their partner, and themselves feel calmer, clearer, and easier to navigate.
What makes this workshop different
Other workshops focus on behavior change, improving communication, or teaching strategies to ignore the emotion and just simply “calm down”.
This workshop goes deeper.
We don’t pile on a dozen techniques to manage your responses
We explore why the reaction is happening in the first place so the same triggers don’t keep repeating
We focus on what’s happening in your body, not just your thoughts so you can actually interrupt reactions instead of overriding them
This isn’t about forcing yourself to ignore the feeling, it’s about having a deeper awareness of what’s actually happening, which naturally changes how you respond
What clients are saying…
“It felt like years of therapy.... I've done therapy and other healing work, but it's rare to find someone like Sage who makes you feel truly safe, seen, and deeply cared for. This felt like that next step -- applying what lives in our subconscious and the patterns that still shape our life, whether you're fully aware of them or not. The space she creates is so grounded and nurturing and allows for true healing to happen.” ~Bianca
“Dynamics in my relationships with family members have shifted. I feel more present and patient as a parent. Fears about pursuing certain endeavors in my life feel less daunting. Opportunities seem to be presenting themselves in new ways. ” ~Adam
What this workshop is not:
Not therapy or anger management
Not about blaming your partner, kids, or yourself
Not about forcing yourself to be calm all the time
Not about suppressing emotions
This work is about learning how to respond with more awareness so that messy moments don’t turn into days of guilt or disconnection.
